Michal Levison is a speaker, engagement expert, the author of two Amazon five-star cookbooks and a leader in the Growing Healthy Communities revolution. Michal and her team empower individuals, businesses and communities to reconnect to food, cook together and return to the communal meal in order to achieve more fulfilled, productive, healthy and happy lives. Michal has served as a speaker at the Oscar Health Work/Life Conference, The Upside of Life Retreat, JCC Manhattan, Growing Healthy Communities Conference, Female Venture Summit, Jewish Federation of North Jersey, Pine Forest Camp as well as various community centers throughout the Northeast. In 2016, Michal was awarded the prestigious Rising Star Award by the Jewish Federation of North Jersey to honor her outstanding service to the community.

Born in Israel and raised in the U.S., Michal is the author of two cookbooks that marry the simplicity of Mediterranean cooking with local, seasonal ingredients. Michal is also the creator of and writer for the Bump to Bean blog, and has written for various online and print publications, including Huffington Post, Fox News, Thrive Global, Jewish Standard, Urban Campfire, Feedfeed, and Biz Bash. Prior to launching Seasoned Moments in 2015, Michal built a 20-year career designing and producing experiential events for Fortune 500 corporations, major non-profits and private clients, including the 92nd Street Y’s Global Citizenship Award event, BMW’s national sales conference, the Pope’s greenroom during his visit to New York and Brookfield Properties’ Mid-Atlantic portfolio. 

Michal earned a BA in African American History and Theater from Tufts University. She also studied Theater at the British American Drama Academy in London. Her first career was as an award winning pianist who performed worldwide for over nearly two decades.
